October 6

Do not forget your Red Ribbon Week parent homework.

Social Studies (Nittler) -We will be studying Christopher Columbus and reviewing for a test on Chapter 3 on Monday of next week.

Science (Remis) See Mrs. Remis's Edmodo page for your class

PE (Seidt) -

Art (Smith) - We are talking about three dimensional art and making wire pulped sculptures of people.

Music (Barratt) - We are practicing and getting ready for the Fall Concert - Thursday, October 16th.

English/Writing (Gillett) -  We will be studying and analyzing fairytales.  Then begin work on Fractured Fairytales.  We will also begin work on Unit 4 in vocabulary,

Band (Copenhaver) - 

Spelling (Gillett) -  The spelling unit deals with word with double consonants.

Algebra (Duree) -

Pre-Algebra (Kilgore) - Multiplying and Dividing mixed measurements. Subtraction timed quiz Tuesday.  Test Friday over time, speed, distance, solving proportions, and measurements.

Religion (Nittler) - We will finish Chapter 5 and get started on Chapter 6, which deals with how the Church's liturgy can change and adapt.

Reading - We will finish the Dr. Jeykyll and Mr. Hyde  and begin writing VFW contest essay which
is entitled "Why I Appreciate America's Veterans."
